In honor of the Halloween Season, I want you to do things that scare you. Make 10 Acts of Courage in the next month. Courage, at its core, is about strengthening your relationship with yourself, which is why I’m challenging you not just to make 10 Acts of Courage over the next month, but we’re actually going to create a Courage Agreement!
Things That Go Bump in the Night
When resistance, your lizard brain, or your inner critic conjures up monsters in the dark, take comfort in that fact that you are not your thoughts. It’s simply a part of you attempting to keep you from growing – an attempt to distract you from your path of purpose and passion.
It’s OK to Be Happy
I’m going to let you in on a secret that I learned: it’s OK to step towards happiness. In fact, it’s ok to actually BE happy. Just like you need to create a peace agreement and accept who you are in this moment, you can decide that you are happy and are going to continue to step towards things that delight you. Here are a few things to help you on your way.

In order to live in the zone, you have to accept yourself exactly as you are in this moment. Acceptance doesn’t mean that you are choosing to remain stuck; instead, you are choosing to end the argument with reality.
