Now that we’re beyond Labor Day in the US, most of the kids are back in school. For those that are empty nesters, you may be thinking about planning a getaway. We just finished watching the new “Elvis” movie and it has me thinking about Las Vegas!

There is no destination quite like Las Vegas. Las Vegas is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. Every year, millions of people flock to the city to enjoy its many attractions and activities. This city has something for everyone, whether you’re looking for excitement and glamour. Or simply want to relax at a nice resort by the pool and enjoy the weather.

With its many attractions, shows, and restaurants, Las Vegas is definitely worth ticking off your bucket list! If you’re thinking of planning a trip to Las Vegas, here are a few things to keep in mind:

One – Decide on Your Budget

This is probably the most important step in planning your trip. Figure out how much you’re willing to spend on your accommodations, food, activities, and so on. It’s super important that if you plan on gambling, that you set a budget for that as well.

This will help you narrow down your options and make sure you stay within your budget.

Two – Choose Your Dates

The next step is to choose when you want to go on vacation. Las Vegas is a popular destination year-round, but certain times of the year are busier than others. If you’re looking to avoid the crowds, consider visiting during the shoulder seasons (April-May or September-October). Keep in mind that the prices of flights and hotels tend to fluctuate depending on the season. If you’re flexible with your dates, you might be able to save some money.

Three – Book Your Flights And Accommodation

Once you’ve figured out your budget and chosen your dates, it’s time to book your flights and accommodation. There are a few things to keep in mind when doing this. For example, make sure to compare prices from different airlines and travel websites. And if you’re looking for a hotel, don’t forget to read the Sapphire Resorts reviews before booking.

Four – Make Transportation Arrangements

If you are flying into Las Vegas, you will need to make sure you have a rental car or another form of transportation lined up. If you are driving, you will need to factor in the cost of gas and parking.

Five – Decide What You Want To Do

There is so much to see and do in Las Vegas, from gambling and shows to shopping and sightseeing. For us, it would be mostly about the shows! Think about what you want to get out of your trip before you start planning so that you can make the most of your time in the city. And if you want to do any excursions outside of the city like Hoover Dam.

Six – Pack Appropriately

The weather in Las Vegas can be extremely hot, so it’s important to pack light and comfortable clothing. Remember to also pack any essentials you might need, such as sunscreen and sunglasses. Now that you’ve planned everything out, it’s time to pack your bags and enjoy your trip!

By following these tips, you can make sure that your trip to Las Vegas is everything you want it to be. Whether you’re looking for non-stop fun or a more relaxed vacation, this city has something for everyone.
